Noctua and Asus RTX 3070 looks brown
Finally, it’s here! Someone leaked a picture of the brown Asus GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition this week. People wondered when it would be available for purchase. This month, ASUS is releasing the GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition and the overclocked version, the 3070 Noctua OC Edition.
GPU fans are quieter than other types of fans. The fan is made with a large 2.3-slot heatsink and two NF-A12x25 fans. These make it 10 dB quieter than other GPUs, so it’s quieter than your average GPU. Wood-looking cases take advantage of these GPUs. There’s a brown color and they’re made by Noctua.
Roland Mossig says, “We use NF-A12x25 fans and the heat sink with them. It makes the Asus card faster and more efficient.”
Each of these cards has the following specifications:
ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua OC Edition
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
CUDA Cores: 5888
OC mode boost clock: 1845 MHz
Gaming mode boost clock: 1815 MHz
8 GB GDDR6
PCIe® 4.0 interface
2 x Native HDMI 2.1
3 x Native DisplayPort 1.4a
Asus GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition

The RTX 3070 Noctua Edition will be available this month. We contacted Asus and they indicated that the MSRP (or “Market Selling Price”) of these cards had not been set yet. Based on the experience with other RTX GPUs, we expect that they will not last long. Our experts told us to wait and let you know when the process is complete.
